The iconic Burt Reynolds (BOOGIE NIGHTS, THE CANNONBALL RUN) stars as Jefferson Steel, a washed-up Hollywood action star who's as insecure as he is unemployable. But the tide on Jefferson's ailing career turns when his Hollywood agent inadvertently stumbles upon the perfect role while rummaging through a dustbin and it isn't long before his jaded client is on a place bound for England and the 'chance of a lifetime' part of King Lear in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Unbeknownst to the hapless duo Jefferson's not about to tread the boards for the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company, rather it is intended for him to appear in an amateur dramatic society's rendition of the play... in Stratford St. John, Suffolk!
